Longer Days

If days could last longer

I'd love more
Enjoy more
Dream more
Pursue more
Achieve more
Thank more
Help more
Give more
And receive less

I'd live longer
Like tomorrow is forever away
Like all the seasons came on the same day
Like the morning's sunrise lasted more than a few minutes moment time
And the afternoon's intermission extended beyond the break leading to the next Act
And the night's cue was more than a few hours away from saying goodnight to the day

I'd keep
Living
Loving

Laughing
And enjoying
My days

And I'd smile
Even if I knew if it was my last

Because I lived

My Life

To its fulfill
