Be You

To be content
To be confirmed
To be humble

Even if the world surrounding you
Doesn't agree

As long as you do

To be misunderstood
To be accused
To be shunned

Even if proven your truth
And no fault is found

As long as you stand tall and your head stays high

To love
To forgive
To move forward alone

Even if fear shows you the better
Of the comforts of used-to's

As long as you move along

To know
To be
You

Even if that means being different
And cast out by majority rule

As long as you're you

 

As long as to yourself

You are True
