Thinkin' And Thankin'

I woke up thinkin'

'Bout those times that could've been my last
'Bout those things which I wanted but never became
'Bout those answers to prayers that didn't come at that very moment
But eventually came at the right time

'Bout all
The reasons
The seasons
And meanings
Of what was
Is
And will be

Then

I started thankin' Him

For
How fortunate I've been
For
How blessed I am
For
How far I've come
Just by His favor
And grace
And mercy

And I praise Him
Singing songs of praise high to the heavens
Because He's been so good to me

Because He's been so good to me
